When can I go back to exercise after having my baby? This is a question that we hear a lot, and our answer is always, “there is no rush”. When it feels right we are here. There is no set rule, and many varying factors to consider.
There are so many ways new Mumma’s can start moving after birth, some are appropriate and some are not. Knowing where to start can be confusing as each women’s healing journey is different, that’s why we offer a Women’s Wellness Check and a range of postnatal classes in Dorchester to ensure we get every woman moving to suit her body.
We offer a range of expert led Postnatal classes that support each woman from the moment she is ready to join us, in a way that feels right for her body. There is no rush.
From 1-2 weeks Postnatal it may be possible to enjoy a Postnatal Massage.
From 6 weeks Postnatal, it may be possible to enjoy a progressive Postnatal Exercise class, dependant on screening and healing, every woman is different.
Every client is screened before attending class, and if we aren’t comfortable with the screening, we will support advise, or make referrals to the NHS or privately.
